All-Day Programs for School-Age Students
Though schooling in 2020–2021 will be one more challenge to meet, we’re trusting our skills and experience to figure it out. And our school-age programs are here to give you and your children a return to normalcy with distance learning support for school-age kids. See how we put learning at the heart of distant learning:
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Champions
Champions is a safe space for kids to explore, be original, and rise to their next challenge. In our programs, we help students celebrate what makes them unique—because that’s what makes them awesome! They learn to value the differences in our families, beliefs, and bodies and recognize the commonalities that bring us together.
Champions At Home Activity Hub
Want help keeping the learning (and playing) going when kids have to stay home? We’re here to help. Our guide for school-age children has tips for balancing time between schoolwork, engaging in fun activities, and working independently. They love their screens at this age, so we help you use screen time wisely by finding breaks for movement and practicing mindfulness.
Oregon State Childcare Assistance
Don't let cost be an issue... Oregon State Childcare Assistance has updated their Gross Income levels to accept even more families this Spring!
During this uncertain time, we want to ensure that families continue to have the access they need to affordable childcare. Oregon has taken drastic measures to assist families by increasing Gross Income Limits and removing all co-pays. For more information click link below.

Enhanced HEALTH
We're working closely with a medical advisor, Dr. Ray Fabius, and following CDC guidance. As a result you'll see the following:
  • Additional teacher and staff training. We're training all of our teachers and staff on the enhanced precautions and preventative measures to keep everyone safe and healthy.
  • Handwashing, regular disinfecting. We continue to follow the most up-to-date guidance to ensure that our sites are as safe and clean as possible.
  • Diligent social distancing. We'll practice social distancing as much as possible to reduce risk. We will also ensure the same groups are together throughout the day to lower risk.
  • Enhanced illness guidelines. Per new guidelines from our medical advisor, if site staff or children have symptoms or a fever, they'll need to stay home for up to 72 hours after symptoms subside. We are also implementing enhanced health screenings for children and staff upon entry.
  • Staggered drop-off and pick-up schedules. We'll check in with you about your typical routine and may ask for your flexibility to avoid gathering of large groups.
  • Response protocols in place. We're collaborating with local officials to make sure we have procedures ready to put in place as the situation evolves.
