Meet The Principal

Following her graduation from Eastern Oregon University, Mrs. Wyant attended Kaplan University for her Master's degree and completed her administrative licensure program at the University of Oregon.

Over the course of her 18 years with the Hermiston School District, she has taught third grade at Rocky Heights for eight years, and then served as an instructional coach for three years. Eventually, becoming the assistant principal at Armand Larive Middle School.

A Message from Principal Wyant:

“This job has the ability to impact many students at many different levels.  I have seen education be the cycle breaker for many generational tracks.  My goal is for every single student to know their worth and be a reader. This way, the future is wide open, and they are not limited.  The thing that makes me the happiest is seeing our students.  I love them and am so proud that they know it.”

 She has a daughter going into her freshman year of high school and a son going into his sophomore year of middle school. Aside from spending time with her family and doing home projects, she also enjoys learning new things. She also has a huge passion for sports, so go Ducks!
