Notice of Budget Committee Meeting 

Two public meetings of the Budget Committee of the Hermiston School District 8R, County of Umatilla, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, will be held in the Hermiston School District Boardroom at 305 SW 11th St, Hermiston, OR 97838. These are public meetings where deliberations of the Budget Committee will take place. The first meeting will take place on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. The purpose of the first meeting is to receive the budget message, review the proposed budget and to receive comments from the public. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee. The second meeting will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. for the committee to review and consider the final proposed budget and receive additional public comments. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained at the meeting, or from the District’s website Business Office » Financial Reports, on or after May 5, 2026.
