Hermiston School District will offer onsite student registration assistance for the 2021-2022 school year at the district office. Computers and bilingual staff will be on hand for registration support from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm on

The district will have stations prepared with two guest chairs and an electronic device. It is requested that no more than two guests per family enter the office to complete the registration process. Additional party members are asked to remain in the lobby or outside. Wearing a mask indoors will be at the discretion of the individuals.
Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to update physical/mailing address, emergency contact information, etc., as well as complete free and reduced-price meal applications and pay any outstanding lunch and necessary student fees. Athletes will not be charged Pay to Play fees to participate in athletics or activities.
The district will provide school supplies for students this school year. Parents do not need to purchase supplies.
Parents can access online registration by visiting https://www.hermiston.k12.or.us/apps/pages/registration/ and selecting English or Spanish to proceed. The Online Registration page has links to register kindergarten, returning, and new students to HSD.
Students returning to Hermiston schools this fall should have received a letter including a snapcode specific to the student. Parents/guardians must enter the student’s snapcode and then login to registration portal.
Families of kindergarten and new students are asked to bring the following verification information, either to the district office or the school in August.
- Record of the student’s birth (i.e. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport)
- Proof of residence/physical address
- Immunization records
- Any previous report cards or transcripts
Incoming kindergarten students must be five years of age by September 1, 2021, or born on or before September 1, 2016. If there are legal documents (e.g. custody or parenting plans) for the student, the parent/guardian should provide a copy to the school.
Through the online registration portal, families will be asked if they wish to enroll their student in a Hermiston school different than where he/she would attend based on the home address, or in Hermiston Online. If this is the case, the parent/guardian should follow up the registration process by completing an intra-district transfer form, which is available on the district web site or at the district office. Forms may be returned to the requested school or the district office. Families who prefer online learning may select Hermiston Online for a comprehensive and robust online program.
All students must be registered prior to August 6, for the student to be scheduled and bus routes to be built.

El distrito tendrá estaciones preparadas con dos sillas para los visitantes y un dispositivo electrónico. Se solicita que máximo dos visitantes por familia entren a la oficina para completar el proceso de inscripción. Los demás acompañantes se les pedirá que esperen en el vestíbulo o afuera. Los padres y tutores tendrán la oportunidad de actualizar el domicilio de su casa/ dirección postal, la información de contacto de emergencia, etc., así como completar las solicitudes de comidas gratuitas y a precio reducido, y pagar facturas del almuerzo que estén pendientes y cuotas estudiantiles necesarias. A los atletas no se les cobrarán tarifas de Pago por Jugar para poder participar en deportes o actividades.
El distrito proveerá los útiles para la escuela este año escolar. Los padres no necesitan comprar los útiles.
